Brooke's comeback, and the rival in her way
A single bad match almost finishes Brooke. Kiss My Enemy picks her up in the aftermath, as she rebuilds her confidence and fights for a place back in the ring. Waiting on the other side of the ropes is the opponent who makes the comeback personal. Brooke expects rivalry. What she does not expect is attraction, and once she feels it she cannot pretend otherwise.
It is an enemies-to-lovers story with a sports frame, and the physical world of wrestling gives it a different energy from the domestic dramas that dominate the platform. Training, competition and feelings she never planned for all pull at her at once.
