Who we are

Candy Shorts AI (candy-shorts-ai.org) is an independent information website about the Candy Shorts series on Candy AI. We have no user accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so we collect very little. For any privacy question, write to the address on our contact page.

What is stored on your device

  • Age confirmation. When you confirm that you are 18 or over, your browser stores a small value (in local storage and a first-party cookie named folio-adult) for 12 months, so the question is not asked on every page.
  • Analytics choice. If we enable analytics, your yes or no answer is stored the same way under folio-consent.

Both are strictly functional and contain no personal information.

Analytics

Google Analytics is loaded only if you agree to it in the consent box. If you decline, or never answer, no analytics script runs. When it does run, Google receives data like the pages you open, your rough location and the kind of device you use, under its own privacy policy.

Fonts and hosting

Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and shares your IP address with them when a page loads. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (IP address, requested page, time) for security and troubleshooting.

Links to Candy AI

Some links to candy.ai and candyshorts.com carry affiliate parameters so the platform can attribute a sign-up to this site. We do not receive your personal details from the platform. Once you are on candy.ai, its own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Data protection laws in many countries, including the GDPR in Europe, let you ask to see, fix or erase personal data held about you, or object to its use. Because we hold almost none, most requests can be handled by clearing your browser storage for this site. For anything else, contact us and we will reply within 30 days.

Adults only

Everything here is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18.
