Ava's rule, and Camilla's loophole

Ava is throwing a girls' night, and her boyfriend has been told in no uncertain terms to stay out of the way until it is over. The plan lasts about as long as the opening of the movie: Ava nods off on the couch early. That leaves Camilla, who is both Ava's best friend and the boyfriend's stepsister, free to decide the no-boys rule no longer applies. The premise of Boys Not Allowed rests on that double connection. Camilla is close to both of them, which makes every choice she makes riskier for everyone involved, all of whom are adults.

A step-sibling story built for the small screen

Candy AI files the series under Stepsister and Taboo. The step-siblings are both adults, and the drama comes from a secret kept within earshot of a sleeping girlfriend.
