Dad's New Girlfriend is a six-episode Candy Shorts drama told in the second person, about the charged pull between you and your father's partner, Colette. Episodes 1 and 2 play at no cost after a quick free sign-up; the other 4 are locked at 12 tokens an episode.
Colette changes the household
Your father has a new girlfriend, and she is nothing like what you expected. Colette is relaxed, warm and a good deal younger than him, the sort of person who fills a room without trying. The series is written in the second person, so you are the one noticing how often your eyes meet and how long those moments last. Dad's New Girlfriend builds its tension from a boundary everyone can see and nobody wants to name out loud. Colette is not framed as a schemer in the listing; the pull simply exists, and both of you have to decide what to do about it. Every character is an adult.
Free for two, locked for four
Dad's New Girlfriend has 6 episodes. The first pair of episodes is free to anyone with an account; the other 4 are locked. When you hit the first locked episode, the player offers Candy AI Premium, which the platform says unlocks premium episodes, and shows a price of 12 tokens an episode, as of October 2026. Our page on free Candy Shorts episodes explains how far a free account goes across the catalog.
A Taboo-tagged drama in six parts
Candy AI files the series under Taboo. It is an adult drama made entirely with AI-generated characters, cut as a vertical mini-series for viewing on a phone, and the point-of-view framing suits that format well. The full episodes are adult-oriented and sit behind the 18+ login on candy.ai, while promotional clips on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube are edited to be safe for those platforms and stop well short of the full episodes.
Related family-boundary stories
If this premise appeals, other Candy Shorts titles work the same territory: My Stepmom Is 22 is tagged Stepmom and Taboo, Date With My Stepmom takes a similar family angle, and My Ex's Hot Dad flips the generations around.
